Hi! I’m Jessica and I run a non-profit horse rescue “Empowered Equines” in York, ME. We have mostly draft horses, ponies, sheep, donkeys and a collection of little critters. We have a wonderful crew of volunteers and students of all ages dedicated to learning and using Positive Reinforcement with all the animals at our farm and elsewhere. A large focus of our rescue is spreading education on ethical horse-keeping, to help reduce the future need for rescues.
