Marion Desmarchelier is an assistant professor at the University of Montreal Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. She is board certified by the American College of Zoological Medicine and by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists. As a wildlife and zoo veterinarian for more than 12 years, Marion has used behavior and training to improve the welfare of a large variety of species. She also has a special interest in horse behavior problems that could be related to underlying medical conditions. Marion has been riding horses since a young age, competing in eventing as a teenager. Her equid family includes a pony and a donkey.
