I grew up with horses on a ranch in New Mexico. I am an equine veterinarian who practiced for almost 20 years. I also had a barn where I taught lessons and trained horses. In about 1997, I began to experiment with clicker training. In 2003, I began to work with Alexandra Kurland on a regular basis with multiple horses and became one of her online coaches. In 2013, I moved to Canada and for the next three years used clicker training to teach horses from Cavalia to be polite retirees and also taught the grooms to handle the horses with positive reinforcement. Currently I am enjoying playing with my own horse, a goat and teaching clinics.
